Terra Verum roughly translates into 'True to the Earth'. The pandemic has brought into sharp focus the importance of food security as a vital component of economic security and the source of that food has never been more relevant. The board at Terra Verum brings together many years of cumulative experience in the medical and life-sciences fields which we have successfully growing to producing organic, chemical free and sustainable organic produce.

'Energy can neither be created nor destroyed' was first stated by Emilie du Chatelet and while it is true ,it does not take into account the source of the said energy. The environmental burden of organic naturally grown and chemical free produce is decidedly lower than that grown by conventional means but there is still a dependency on fossil-fuels. Although it is as yet not possible to eliminate this dependency, it is possible to reduce it by either growing one's own produce or have the neighbourhood buy from a centralised location, serviced by local farmers i.e the mohalla mandi

We at Terra Verum believe that sustainability is not just a word but is a state of mind. One of the many reasons individuals hesitate to grow their own food is because there is a general assumption that the uncertainty around return on investment is not worth the effort. We at Terra Verum believe that growing your own food can and should be not just environmentally sustainable but fiscally sustainable as well.
